Prince William’s strange nickname
His mother called him Wombat when he was young and the nickname just stuck. His brother Harry joked that it’s because he was so lazy.
Prince William knows some supermodels
He had a giant crush on Cindy Crawford when he was a 13-year-old boy. So, his mother decided to invite her so he could meet her. Cindy later admitted that she was incredibly nervous and she was afraid that she will break some of the protocols as she didn’t understand them.
Golf injury
He sustained a serious injury when he was 13 years old, on a golf resort in Spain. He had to get an operation after that which left a scar on his forehead. He jokes about it being a Harry Potter scar and that it sometimes even glows.
Prince William loves surfing
He loves water and he would appreciate living near the beach. However, if he becomes King, he will have to live in Buckingham’s palace. He also learned how to surf and is pretty good at it.
Need for relaxation
Prince William has opened up about difficult times when his mother died. For that reason, he told that they need to relax from time to time and just be human. He was speaking about mental illness a lot and giving support to people who were struggling.
Hospital Birth
Usually, all British Royals would deliver their babies at home. However, this rule was first broken by Princess Anne in the 70s, then by Diane, when she had William and Harry. Since that moment, all Royals were going to the same hospital to give birth.
He wanted to be Police Officer
He wanted to be a policeman and wanted to look after his mom. However, his life turned completely different but he seems to be managing the role he has now.
